HR Manager

Our client, a dynamic and expanding US multinational in the biotech/medtech sector, has engaged CPL exclusively to recruit a talented, energetic, and ambitious HR Manager to join their leadership team and head up their HR function in the mid-west.
The Job:
As a key member of the site-based senior leadership team and reporting to the Global Head of HR, the successful candidate will have a broad remit across the HR function, including both hands-on and strategic duties. Responsibilities include leading the local HR team, engaging with global HR colleagues, managing complex HR projects, heading employee relations and IR functions, designing and delivering new HR policies and processes, overseeing compensation and benefits, training alignment, and managing internal and external recruitment processes.
As part of the site leadership team, you will also guide and coach departmental managers, ensure compliance with HR legislation and industry best practices, set strategic HR budgets, and support corporate strategy to ensure the long-term success of the HR function and the Irish operation.
Your Skills/Experience
* Minimum third-level degree in HR, business studies, or a related discipline; additional relevant qualifications are advantageous.
* At least 4 years’ experience as an HR Manager or 6+ years in a senior HR Business Partner role.
* Experience in the med-tech, medical devices, pharma, or related sectors is a plus but not essential.
* Proven knowledge and experience in Employee Relations and Industrial Relations.
* Excellent IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel and other applications.
* Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
* Ability to work independently and deliver HR projects effectively.
The Offer:
Salary will depend on skills and experience, approximately €95,000 - €115,000, with an excellent benefits package including pension, private healthcare, and other perks. The contract is initially for 12-14 months.
The role offers a hybrid working arrangement, with 3-4 days in the office and 1-2 days remote.
