Equipment Engineering Roles (x3) – Biopharmaceutical Expansion Project, Dublin
Overview
These roles will support a major biopharmaceutical manufacturing expansion project in Dublin, with primary responsibility for
syringe filling
and
single-use formulation equipment
. The positions will focus on equipment implementation, start-up, and ensuring full operational readiness in line with site and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* As part of the site engineering team, support the expansion of an existing manufacturing facility, with a focus on syringe filling and single-use formulation equipment.
* Support manufacturing readiness activities, including start-up and validation of new systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with site standards and fit-for-purpose requirements.
* Assist with delivery of equipment project scope, including installation support, calibration, spare parts management, functional testing, start-up, and sustaining equipment in routine operation.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Process Development, Automation, IT/IS, EHSS, and Global Engineering stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
* Establish maintenance strategies and develop initial preventive maintenance (PM) programs for new process equipment.
* Support vendor engagement and equipment supplier management throughout the project lifecycle.
* Travel as required to support project activities, including vendor or partner sites.
Basic Qualifications / Experience
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, with typically
5+ years' experience
in engineering projects and systems within regulated manufacturing environments.
* Strong working knowledge of applicable
quality management systems
and
regulatory requirements
(e.g. GMP).
* Experience supporting new technology introduction and equipment deployment within manufacturing facilities.
* Proven ability to analyse and resolve complex technical and operational issues.
* Manufacturing experience within a
biopharmaceutical formulation and/or fill-finish facility
.
* Strong technical documentation, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Experience working with equipment vendors and external suppliers.
* Self-directed, well-organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
* Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across functions and levels to support effective decision-making and project delivery.
