Golf Ireland is the single governing body for golf on the island of Ireland, established in January 2021 it is responsible for leading, growing and supporting the game of golf.
The primary functions of Golf Ireland include the administration of Championships and Inter-Club events, the administration of the World Handicap System and the Rules of Golf and Amateur Status, the delivery of a world-class high-performance programme, contesting and hosting international fixtures, supporting clubs and growing the game. Golf Ireland is currently in the middle of its first strategic plan titled ''Golf is a Game for Everyone''.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the role of High Performance Coordinator at Golf Ireland supporting the extensive work of the High Performance Department. The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the administration of a range of aspects of Golf Ireland's High-Performance Pathway including international competition, coaching and selections.

About the Role:
High Performance Coordinator Principal Responsibilities:
* Work as a key member of the central High Performance team.
* Generally assisting and providing administrative support to the High Performance Director and to the High Performance Manager. This may include but will not be limited to work on orders of merit, statistics and compilation of general high performance documents.
* Supporting in the administration of Golf Ireland's Coaching Programme which will include liaising with players, parents, Area Pathway Managers and Squad Coaches.
* Coordinate planning and preparation for international squad trips which will include organisation of flights, accommodation, transport and various other requirements which may vary from trip to trip.
* From time to time, attendance at overseas tournaments with Irish squads.
* Assisting in the provision of uniforms and equipment for teams and panels which will involve assistance with orders, tracking and allocation of gear to high performance and interprovincial golfers.
About the Candidate:
Experience & Knowledge:
* A deep and broad understanding of the golfing landscape within Ireland.
* Experience working within the golf industry.
* Experienced administrator with strong interpersonal & relationship management skills and the ability to work with a broad range of stakeholders, staff and partners.
* Excellent project management skills & experience.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* A proficiency in Microsoft & other IT packages
* An ability to stick to strict deadlines.
* An ability to prioritise and delegate.
* Excellent problem-solving skills.
* A keen eye for detail.
* Have an understanding of Golf Ireland and its strategy. Competencies & Attributes:

This is a full-time role on a permanent contract, reporting to Golf Ireland's High Performance Manager.
