As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled and experienced Maintenance Team Leader to be part of our maintenance team and ensure the optimal performance of our equipment and facilities.Job Scope: Actively contributes to plant and machinery maintenance while leading the team to ensure operational efficiency.Seeking: A dynamic, reliable leader who supports their team, solves problems with focus, and sees tasks through to completion.Key Responsibilities:Enhance plant efficiency through pro-active maintenance and supportDesign and implement operational process improvementsMaintain an orderly, safe, and secure working environment to the highest standardsOversee first class customer service in conjunction with Maintenance and Process Improvements Manager and Operations Manager.Organise and communicate weekly maintenance rotas, ensuring staff adherence to protocol and attendance requirementsDevelop and implement maintenance strategies to minimise downtime and ensure compliance with safety standards.Oversee the planning and execution of preventative and corrective maintenance activities.Lead a team of technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support operational needs.Liaising with QHSE Manager to ensure compliance with all relevant internal and external standards, overseeing adherence to sameMaintain accurate records of maintenance work, inventory, and equipment performance.Ensure the team adheres to workplace safety policies and procedures.Monitor maintenance budgets, manage costs, and identify opportunities for improvementCompletion of administrative records, ensuring compliance with company standardsKnowledge & Skills:Advanced mechanical, technical engineering 'know how' and abilityWorking knowledge of relevant QHSE regulationsAdept at evaluating, coaching, and mentoring team membersIT application proficiency and refined reporting skillsStrong and comfortable negotiatorExcellent communication skills, both verbal and written.Excellent level of EnglishConfidentialityQualifications and Experience :The ideal candidate will have:-Proven experience in a supervisory role within the industrial laundry or manufacturing industry .A relevant craft apprenticeship/third level qualification with at least 3 years supervisory experience.Laundry maintenance experience a distinct advantage.Strong understanding of maintenance management principles and best practices.Excellent leadership and team management skills.Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Johnsons Celtic Linen is an equal opportunities EmployerJob Type: Full-timeBenefits:Company pensionEmployee assistance programExperience:supervisory: 3 years (required)Licence/Certification:A relevant craft apprenticeship/third level qualification (required)Work Location: In person
