Duties
This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Assist the centre Caretaker in undertaking the upkeep of all associated buildings and their contents, preventing damage to structure, furniture, fittings and equipment.
Assist the centre Caretaker with grounds‑keeping activities such as lawn mowing, planting and weeding, general upkeep, and maintaining the grounds in a neat and tidy manner.
Carry out assigned cleaning duties including cleaning windows, emptying indoor and outdoor bins, and assisting cleaners with indoor work when necessary.
Keep buildings, furniture and fittings clean and in working condition.
Assist the centre Caretaker with planting, care and maintenance of the car‑park, grounds and pathways.
Perform maintenance, repair and upkeep duties such as power‑hosing, painting, shelving, clearing drains and sewer rodding as required.
Perform any other similar duties that may be required and generally carry out instructions from the Centre Caretaker or Centre Director.
