Cork Responsibilities Maintain a professional demeanour at all times in line with An Bord Altranais guidelines, scope of practice, and the organisation's code of conduct.
Adhere to all uniform, personal hygiene, PPE, and infection-control standards, promoting best practice in hand hygiene and safety.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate person-centred nursing care while prioritising individual resident needs.
Support a safe, therapeutic nursing home environment that meets residents' physical, psychological, and social needs.
Prepare and administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with company policy and An Bord Altranais guidelines.
Maintain the highest standards of resident hygiene, dignity, and personal care, and assist in safeguarding residents' belongings.
Provide compassionate palliative care to residents and emotional support to their families.
Lead by example, foster a positive team culture, and provide daily direction, support, and guidance to care staff.
Participate in staff induction, training, performance monitoring, and appraisals, supporting continuous professional development.
Address performance concerns, issues, or allegations promptly and professionally, ensuring a safe and respectful working environment.
Requirements Candidates must be registered with NMBI At least one year of experience as a registered nurse is necessary.
Outstanding leadership, organizational, and clinical abilities Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
Ability to make sound decisions A sincere interest in Elderly Care.
