Associate Director, Technology at Parker Stewart
About the Role
Hands‑on opportunity as part of a large residential projects across Cork. You will be involved with setting out, daily site coordination and quality control while providing a clear updates into the Site Manager.
Key Responsibilities
* Set out and survey site works including drainage, foundations, services, and structural elements.
* Keep detailed and up-to-date records of inspections, progress, and materials used.
* Collaborate with engineers, subcontractors, and site management to keep works on programme.
* Check workmanship on site to confirm it meets drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
* Support the site team with scheduling, coordination, and safety compliance, while developing exposure to future site management duties.
Requirements
* Third‑level qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.
* 2+ years’ proven experience working as a Site Engineer, preferably on residential projects.
* Confident using surveying equipment such as GPS or Total Station and interpreting technical drawings.
* Strong communication, planning, and organisational skills.
* A proactive mindset with the drive to progress into a site leadership role.
* Valid drivers license.
