Responsibilities include:
* Develop, write, and maintain detailed documentation for global supply chain processes, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, process maps, and training materials.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain managers, process owners, and subject matter experts, to gather information and ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
* Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
* Review and update existing documentation to reflect changes in processes, systems, and regulations.
* Create visual aids, such as flowcharts and diagrams, to enhance the clarity and usability of documents.
* Manage document control processes, including version control, approvals, and distribution.
* Conduct regular audits of supply chain documentation to ensure consistency and compliance.
* Provide training and support to supply chain staff on the use and interpretation of process documentation.
* Stay current with industry trends and best practices in supply chain management and documentation.
Key requirements include:
* Bachelors degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or a related field.
* Requires extensive experience in supply chain management, process documentation, or technical writing.
* Strong understanding of global supply chain processes and best practices.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in using documentation tools and software, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Visio, and document management systems.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies is a plus.
