Your Role
As Chef de Partie, you'll take responsibility for your section, ensuring consistency, flavour, and presentation are second to none. You'll support the Kitchen Leadership team in running service smoothly and play a key role in mentoring junior chefs while developing your own craft.
What You'll Do
* Lead your section with precision and consistency during service.
* Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards.
* Work closely with the team to deliver a seamless kitchen operation.
* Support menu development, bringing creativity and ideas to the table.
* Maintain stock control and minimise waste through efficient practices.
* Uphold food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards at all times.
* Train and guide commis chefs, sharing knowledge and fostering growth.
* Contribute to the positive culture of the kitchen and wider team.
What You Bring
* Knowledge of Kilkenny Suppliers and a Passion for fresh, seasonal, and locally sourced ingredients.
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role within a quality-focused kitchen.
* Strong technical cooking skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
* Team player with a proactive, can-do attitude.
* A commitment to learning and developing as a chef.
