Company Accountant As a company accountant at Sonova Consumer Hearing Ireland, you'll play a key role in providing a professional and comprehensive service to the company, ensure processes are effective, compliant, and aligned with internal and external requirements and maintain the accuracy and timeliness of financial information.You will be part of a small local team, with multiple points of interaction with international colleagues as part of a global team, continuously adhering to statutory and group requirements.In return for your financial expertise, forward thinking and drive for excellence, you'll find a culture that values innovation, collaboration, and professional growth.
More about the rolePreparation of monthly accruals, prepayments, journal entries and month end reconciliations.Provide an oversight of fixed assets accounting/register and accounts payable process.Engage in both internal and external auditing, ensuring adherence to control measures and group reporting guidelines.Prepare and submit revenue returns, engaging with Corporate Internal Control Systems.Deliver safeguards against financial fraud and assure policies and procedure are maintained and monitored.Preparation and review of all payroll administration and benefit queries.Lead finance ERP key user, first point of contact for JDE finance queries.Co -ordinate annual stock taking activities and analyse variances from forecast.
More about youDegree in Accounting or related finance/business discipline.Qualified or part qualified accountant with an internationally recognised professional accounting body (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)2 years' experience in an accounting role or similar environment.Proficient in Microsoft Office packages, specifically Excel.Excellent communicator and listener, with an ability to work in a timely and efficient manner.Experience with Payroll Administration is a plus.Previous role within a manufacturing environment is an advantage, but not necessary.Fluent in English (Written and spoken)
