Student & Education Engagement Coordinator

Job Title: Student & Education Engagement Coordinator

Reports To: Deputy Director of Education

Term: Full-time, permanent (subject to six-month probation)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm (some evening or weekend work may be required for events)

Location: Dublin 2 (occasional off‑site travel required)

* The Education Department oversees the educational requirements of professionals throughout all stages of their careers and delivers a range of tailored corporate training programmes to meet the evolving needs of the sector.
* Our client is now seeking a Student & Education Engagement Coordinator to play a key role in promoting careers in the built environment, driving student engagement, and supporting the delivery of education‑related initiatives to members and future professionals.


Key Responsibilities

* The Student & Education Engagement Coordinator will work with current, past, and prospective members to support the growth of the membership pipeline, with a strong focus on student and trainee engagement.
* Develop and deliver an effective school communication and engagement strategy.
* Act as the main point of contact for guidance counsellors and teachers, delivering presentations to second‑level students to promote careers in the built environment.
* Manage scheduling and administration for school talks, workshops, and outreach events.
* Create and manage promotional and awareness materials, including career pathways, apprenticeships, and membership routes.
* Support the rollout of existing education outreach programmes and contribute to new initiatives as developed.
* Build and maintain relationships with a range of external stakeholders, including schools, colleges, and industry partners.
* Collaborate closely with the internal communications and marketing team to ensure consistent digital and social media strategies that enhance visibility and engagement.
* Represent the organisation at career fairs, open days, and education‑related events nationwide.
* Prepare regular activity and progress reports for senior management.
* Contribute to the broader education and professional development strategy of the organisation.
* Undertake additional duties as required to support departmental and organisational goals.


Experience and Competencies

The ideal candidate will be personable, well‑organised, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

* Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) and strong IT proficiency.
* Strong organisational, planning, and time‑management skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Demonstrable digital marketing and content creation experience.
* Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Confident presenter with strong interpersonal and networking skills.
* Minimum of two years’ experience in an education, training, or professional membership organisation.
* High standard of administration and reporting skills, maintaining quality while meeting deadlines.
* Full clean driver’s licence (national travel required).
* Experience using Microsoft Dynamics or a similar CRM system.
* Experience working in a professional body, education, or training administration environment.
* Interest or background in the built environment, construction, or property sectors.
