A leading global provider of asset management and investment technology solutions is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to join a growing fund operations team. The organisation supports corporations, financial institutions, investment advisers, and private clients through innovative investment administration and reporting solutions.The business operates internationally across multiple jurisdictions and provides administration, accounting, and reporting services for a broad range of investment fund structures, including alternative investment funds and private market vehicles.The company offers a collaborative, professional, and people-focused environment that values employee development, continuous learning, and high-quality client service.Position SummaryThe Senior Fund Accountant will play a key role within the fund accounting team, maintaining and reviewing the accounting books and records for a range of investment funds. The role includes responsibility for Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, financial reporting, regulatory reporting, and stakeholder management.The successful candidate will also support team development, contribute to process improvements, and build strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and oversee the accurate and timely production of fund NAVs.Review expense schedules, income calculations, capital activity calculations, and fund fee calculations.Ensure established controls and procedures are maintained throughout the NAV production cycle.Support and participate in new fund launches and onboarding activities.Act as a point of contact for clients on fund accounting matters relating to NAV production.Build strong working relationships with internal departments and external stakeholders involved in the fund accounting process.Develop and maintain strong product knowledge across complex fund structures and financial instruments.Support, mentor, and guide junior team members on processes, systems, and reporting requirements.Participate in departmental initiatives, process improvement projects, and wider business activities.Contribute to employee development discussions and ongoing performance feedback where appropriate.Skills & ExperienceMinimum 4 years’ experience within fund operations or fund accounting.Experience working with alternative investment funds is essential.Exposure to private markets structures is advantageous.Strong understanding of trial balance analysis, general ledger postings, and fund accounting principles.Experience with management fee and performance fee calculations.Experience working with closed-ended fund structures.Familiarity with reviewing fund legal documentation, including partnership agreements and fee agreements.Third‑level qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline preferred.Personal AttributesStrong attention to detail and organisational skills.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment.Proactive approach with strong accountability and ownership.Positive attitude and strong problem‑solving abilities.Strong written and verbal English communication skills.The organisation offers a competitive benefits package which may include:Hybrid and flexible working arrangementsPension contributionsLife assuranceEducation assistance and professional development supportWellness initiatives and fitness benefitsAnnual leave and volunteer daysEmployee participation and recognition programmes
