Key Project: A Major Educational Facility in Wicklow
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Site Engineer to join our team on a large-scale educational build project in Wicklow.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Site Engineer to develop their skills and expertise while working on a complex construction project. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all site operations are carried out safely and efficiently, and that the project is completed to the highest standards.
* Setting Out Works: Ensure that all setting out works are accurately planned and executed, and that all relevant personnel understand the drawings and specifications.
* Communication: Communicate clearly with subcontractors and other stakeholders to ensure that all requirements are met.
* Site Diary Management: Record daily activities, progress, and site occurrences in the site diary.
* Progress Reporting: Report on subcontractor work progress to management.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Third-level qualification in Engineering.
* Minimum 1 year's experience in setting out or site engineering.
* Experience with main contractors, subcontractors, or surveying firms preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Project, Power Point, or similar software.
