Sales Rep Manager – Cork
Excel Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Rep Manager to join our client’s retail team in Cork. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a leading, family-run business in the fast-moving consumer goods industry—renowned for delivering high-quality products and exceptional customer service.
Reporting to the Regional Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of independent wholesale accounts, nurturing long-term relationships, and identifying opportunities to drive sales growth.
Salary: €55k – €60k
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain strong, trusted relationships with wholesale customers
* Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the existing customer base
* Manage all aspects of account activity including order processing, delivery follow-up, and issue resolution
* Meet and exceed sales revenue, margin targets, and KPIs
* Monitor and report on market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy
* Collaborate with internal departments (logistics, finance, marketing) to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
* Support the company’s strategic goals by contributing to territory growth and brand development
Requirements:
* Proven experience in Account Management in sales or Business Development experience
* A demonstrated high-level understanding of the FMCG business environment, preferably in the grocery sector
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
* Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple accounts independently
* Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite
* A proactive, results-driven mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
