Main Responsibilities and Duties
* Consistently maintain high-quality standards in food production.
* Display enthusiasm for menus and contribute new ideas.
* Implement effective waste management systems according to regulatory requirements.
* Manage inventory levels and ensure timely stock rotation.
* Prepare and handle all food items while adhering to health and safety guidelines.
* Ensure methods of food preparation, production, and presentation comply with industry standards and client specifications.
* Develop and implement a recipe database for core items and menus.
* Review and update current hospitality menus and offerings.
* Induct new staff into kitchen procedures and canteen protocols.
* Participate in mandatory training programs.
Requirements
* Minimum 3 years' experience in catering or chef roles.
* Relevant professional culinary qualifications.
* High level of competence in food safety and HACCP protocols.
* Excellent communication and people management skills.
* Must be self-motivated and able to inspire others.
* Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen health and safety procedures and legislative requirements.
