Job Specification
Avoca Dunboyne is hiring a Senior Team Lead for our Retail section. The role of a Retail Team Lead is to support the management team and lead employees in your department when a manager is absent. You will report to the Retail Manager and hold responsibilities in their absence.
About The Role
The Senior Team Lead will be responsible for all retail offerings including Fashion, Ladies, Menswear, Beauty, Children's Wear, Homeware, CBK Retail Product, Dry Goods, and Concessions. Supporting the Retail Manager, you will lead the Retail Teams in sales growth, margin attainment, income protection, stock control, cost control, customer service, training, and health and safety during the manager's absence. You will ensure that Avoca continues to lead the market in quality, choice, and variety.

Roles And Responsibilities
* Customer Service - Maintain high customer service standards, handle complaints appropriately, escalate when necessary.
* Cash Management - Perform end-of-day cash counts, lodgment reporting, safe counts, and cash drops using Meridian correctly.
* Staff Training and Development - Ensure staff are trained in tills, coffee, merchandising, HACCP/Food safety, etc.
* Order Processing - Follow order schedules, create POs, and maintain supplier relationships.
* Stock Management - Conduct cycle counts, manage variances, and perform quarter/year-end counts.
* System Maintenance - Update TMS, future work planners, employee details.
* Team Leadership - Ensure team is trained, motivated, and efficient.
* Brand Standards - Act as a brand guardian, ensure visual merchandising aligns with standards.
* Innovation & Change - Support delivery of new concepts and initiatives.
* Visual Merchandising - Ensure displays meet brand standards.
* Category Development - Collaborate with Buying & Operations teams on growth plans.
* Business Optimization - Work with Business Excellence team on stock, labour, margin, sales, and costs.
* Concession Partners - Collaborate to meet business requirements.
* Compliance - Ensure health & safety and food safety compliance.
* Ad hoc Duties - Perform additional duties as required.
