We are seeking an experiencedTechnical Architect / Tech Leadfor a high-impact contract role delivering scalable, cloud-native solutions within theGeneral Insurance domain.This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong architectural ownership combined with active full-stack engineering across Angular, and AWS.This is a hyrbid role based in the city centre ona daily rate contract.You will:Own end-to-end solution architecture (C4 models, HLD/LLD)Lead technical delivery and provide engineering directionDesign and build modern, containerised applications on AWS (ECS/Fargate)Define CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code and NFR standardsDrive integration across policy, underwriting and booking systemsEnsure solutions meet regulatory, security and performance requirementsWhat We're Looking For10–15 years' total IT experience5+ years in Architecture / Solution Design3+ years in a Tech Lead capacityStrong hands-on expertise in:AngularAWS (ECS/Fargate preferred)Proven experience across the General Insurance booking lifecycle (Quote, Bind, MTA, Renewal)Experience delivering production-grade, cloud-native systemsNice to HaveEvent-driven architectureContract testingPerformance tuning & optimisation
