Job Summary:
The HVAC Senior Technician plays a crucial part in delivering high standards of service efficiently to maintain customer plant and equipment. The goal is to maximize technician productivity, enhance the customer experience, and improve operational processes while coaching and supporting the team regionally.
Main Responsibilities:
CUSTOMER AND TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Diagnose system problems when servicing products and equipment on assigned projects and customer site visits.
* Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), handle customer breakdowns, warranty work, hire, and commissioning workloads at customer sites.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, acting as a trusted contact.
* Collaborate with Service desk, Sales, and Operations teams to share key customer insights.
* Use cutting-edge software, technology, hand tools, blueprints, or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units.
* Generate reports on completed invoiced work orders.
* Foster strong customer relationships through excellent service.
* Communicate updates and improvements with supervisors, service managers, senior technicians, and customers.
INTERNAL CONTROLS AND ADMINISTRATION:
* Proven experience in service or field-based technician roles.
* Strong knowledge of customer service principles.
* Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills.
* Effective communication abilities.
* Analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Apps, diagnostic software, and MS Office Suite.
Skill and Abilities:
* People skills and positive mindset.
* Ability to work independently.
* Relevant skilled-based certificates with F-Gas certification.
* Availability for standby and call-outs, including weekdays, weekends, and bank holidays.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* UK Driver's license (company vehicle provided).
* Confirmed right to work in the country of application.
