Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for an Environmental Scientist, based in Cork with opportunities to work remotely part of the week. The Environmental Scientist will be responsible for conducting fieldwork, preparing and reviewing environmental investigation and, managing projects, and providing expert environmental consultancy. They will collaborate with internal teams and clients to deliver high-quality environmental solutions and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Field Work and experience working in diverse environmental settings
* Background in Environmental Science and Environmental skills in soil, air and water sampling
* Experience in Environmental Consulting, including managing projects and delivering solutions, although not essential
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for environmental assessments
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interaction and report preparation
* Relevant degree in Environmental Science or a related field
* Knowledge of Irish environmental regulations and sustainability practices is an advantage
