Bid Manager – Construction
A growing manufacturer within the mission-critical construction space is appointing an experienced Bid Manager to lead complex tender submissions across multiple product and project types.
This role will take ownership of pricing strategy, contractor engagement and internal bid governance, ensuring commercially robust and competitive submissions.
Key responsibilities:
* Lead full bid lifecycle from receipt to submission
* Develop and manage pricing models
* Coordinate cross-functional inputs (sales, engineering, procurement)
* Engage contractors and supply chain for competitive pricing
* Apply commercial judgement to risk and margin strategy
* Maintain governance and bid process standards
* Support and develop a quotations/commercial team
Ideal background:
* Quantity Surveying / Commercial Management
* Experience with General Contractors (Tier 1 or 2)
* Strong understanding of construction contracts and procurement
* Proven leadership within a commercial or bid function
* Experience in data centres or complex construction environments preferred
