About us:Horizon Autos Ltd is a fast-moving friendly environment specialising in 2nd hand Car sales. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Bookkeeper to manage the financial reporting and accounting functions of our business. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic happy team and play a critical role in ensuring the financial health of our organization.Key Responsibilities:Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll.Reconcile bank statements and ensure the integrity of financial data.Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.Handle tax compliance, including VAT returns, PAYE, and other relevant tax obligations.Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.Oversee cash flow management and budgeting processes.Assist with audits, both internal and external, ensuring all records are compliant with regulatory requirements.2Provide strategic input on financial planning and process improvements.Ensuring accurate financial reporting and adherence to deadlines.Required Skills and Experience:Minimum 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles, with at least Two years in a senior role. Motor industry experience would be preferred.
