Location of Post: Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe, West and North West Health Region.
Purpose of the Post
This CNM3 post will ensure the oversight of safe patient care across the Paediatric service (incorporating ED, OPD, Paediatric ward, surgical and medical paediatric services and any other areas children attend).
The CNM3 Paediatrics will support the effective and efficient management of scheduled and unscheduled care through Paediatric services.
This CNM3 post will play a critical role in the work of the PUH working group for the critically ill and Deteriorating child, while in ED/Paediatric Ward or ICU prior to transfer to a tertiary center and will be part of the Paediatric Governance Group.
