Temp Child & Family Support Coordinator - Cork – Mainstream Sector
FRS Recruitment is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Temp Child and Family Support Coordinator to join a leading service in Cork. This organisation provides a range of services including child protection, alternative care, specified regulatory services and a range of family support services. In your new role you will:
- Support the support the implementation of Meitheal - The National Practice Model for all agencies working with Children, Young People and their families.
- Support and promote the development, welfare and protection of all children in the communities in their area through effective intra-agency and inter-agency working
- To work closely and liaise with the Senior CFSN Co-ordinator to ensure integrated working towards positive outcomes for all children and young people.
- Implement tailored strategies developed by the Senior Co-ordinator for engaging specific sectors and services in prevention, partnership and family support, for example schools, youth work etc.
- Work as part of a team with a mixed programme of work and moving with ease between concurrent projects.
- Maintain standards of practice and levels of professional knowledge by participating in continuous professional development initiatives and attendance at courses as appropriate.
To be a successful candidate you will have:
- A minimum QQI Level 7 in Social Care or related field – Community Work, Family Support etc
- Minimum 2 years' experience working in the area of direct child and family support services.
- Experience working with Meitheal.
- Experience in the delivery of training and the facilitation of groups.
- A full clean driver's licence.
