Senior Accountant - Commercial Project Management
We are seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to lead commercial project management, with expertise in financial reporting and cost control.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and present detailed reports on weekly and monthly costs and revenues for senior stakeholders, analysing trends and variances across multiple sites.
* Cost Control & Budgeting: Monitor project spending and collaborate with commercial teams to provide insights, projections and recommendations on budget tracking.
* Project Accounting: Manage WIP, revenue recognition and contract accounting processes while implementing improvements in reporting systems such as Power BI.
Requirements:
* Certified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical and analytical skills.
* A minimum of 3 years' experience in financial or project accounting within construction engineering or large-scale project environments.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with financial reporting tools such as Power BI.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to work collaboratively across finance and operational teams.
