Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centre Project (Amsterdam, Netherlands)Immediate Start | Permanent Position | Major Tier 1 M&E ContractorWe are seeking Senior Electrical Engineers to join an expanding team on an exciting large-scale data centre project in Amsterdam. This is a great opportunity to take a leading role in the electrical delivery of a major European build, supported by a highly experienced project team.Role ResponsibilitiesReview electrical designs to identify gaps, contradictions, and deviationsProduce detailed RFIs to clarify design issues and remove ambiguityValidate equipment sizing (cables, containment, etc.) and provide recommendationsManage submittals through approval stages and track procurement and equipment deliveryCarry out electrical system walkdowns ensuring compliance with design, standards, and internal proceduresAttend weekly supplier/subcontractor meetings and track progress against programmeCoordinate electrical services with other disciplines and the BIM teamProvide technical guidance to subcontractors and assist the construction teamEnsure subcontractors adhere to all project, operational, and H&S requirementsPrepare method statements, risk assessments, and other technical documentsSupport planning and sequencing for safe and efficient installationApply troubleshooting techniques and corrective actions as neededMaintain up‑to‑date document control logsSkills & ExperienceDegree in Electrical Engineering (or similar).
