Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and motivated WMArchitect Team Leader to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure that the assembly of our single use fluid technology paths are being carried out in accordance with the manufacturing plan.
* Oversee the efficient assembling of WMA products, maintaining product quality by carrying out regular work in progress reviews.
* Address all faults or defects within WMA product and equipment, escalating through the relevant channels when required.
* Organise, prioritise and distribute the daily workload within your team of WMA Operatives.
* Undertake the WMA assembly line set up, operational supervision and line clearance activities.
* Lead the training of the WMA Operatives to ensure the development of a multiskilled and engaged team.
* Maintain all relevant documentation to ensure compliance with the BS EN ISO 14644 clean room requirements, BS EN ISO 9001 and cGMP standards.
* Ensure compliance with the ISO 14001 Environmental Standards.
* Ensure compliance with all company health and safety rules and regulations at all times, including contributing to any company health and safety initiatives and activities.
* Ensure that the daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning operations within the cleanroom environment are carried out in accordance with company procedures to ensure BS EN ISO 14644 clean room compliance.
* Liaise with other Manufacturing Team Leaders and Operators to ensure efficient flow of manufactured product.
* Input and maintain all data required within production support software.
* Manage sickness absence and annual leave requests across your team.
* Lead the daily Level 1 Self‑Directed Team board for WMA.
* Engage in continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation.
Skills/Experience
* Experience of working on an assembly line and following manual assembly techniques.
* Experience of leading a team of individuals to deliver a specific outcome aligned to a production plan.
* Any experience working within a medical/pharmaceutical manufacturing environment is advantageous although not essential.
* Ideally you will have awareness of the BS EN ISO 14644 clean room requirements, BS EN ISO 9001 and cGMP standards – we will consider candidates with any ISO understanding.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing, ensuring clear and concise objectives and delivery across the team.
* Excellent attention to detail to ensure the accurate assembly of products and strict adherence to specifications.
* Competent IT user, capable of utilising IT tools such as Microsoft Office packages and production support software.
