Job Summary:
* To operate and monitor bakery production machinery to ensure the efficient and safe manufacture of high-quality product.

Responsibilities:
Health and Safety
* Comply with all safety protocols and operational guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
* Ensure your manager is informed of all safety hazards of which you become aware, so remedial action can be taken.
* Wearing and using the correct Personal Protective Equipment and clothing.
* Accepting responsibility for the safety of ourselves, other employees and all other people affected by our service. Ensure that your activities do not put people at risk.
* Attend regular and quality training to stay informed of best practices and regulatory requirements.
* Comply with the law and any procedures, policies designed to ensure a safe place of work including drug and alcohol policies.
Quality
* Adhere to the company's quality standards by inspecting materials and products at various stages of production.
* Report any quality issues or defects to supervisors and assist in corrective actions.
* Maintain a clean and organised workspace to support quality and safety.
* Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality in operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor complex bakery machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
* Ensure consistent product quality by following recipes, specifications, and quality control standards.
* Accurately complete production documentation and report any issues or deviations.
* Work collaboratively with team members and other departments to meet production targets.
* Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with health and safety and food hygiene standards.
* Participate in training and development activities to build skills and knowledge.

Qualifications & Experience
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Basic literacy and numeracy skills.
* Physically fit and able to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
