A global pharmaceutical manufacturing company is seeking an Automation Engineer to join its onsite production support team at a high-volume regulated manufacturing facility.This is a long-term contract role working a shift pattern (days/nights) supporting packaging and manufacturing operations through hands-on automation and controls support.Key Responsibilities:Provide frontline support for automated manufacturing systemsTroubleshoot and resolve controls and system issuesSupport continuous improvement and system upgradesAssist with preventative maintenance and change controlsEnsure compliance with GMP/GxP standardsSupport operators and technicians with automation-related queriesRequirements:Degree qualified in Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or related discipline2–5 years’ experience in automation, controls, or manufacturing systemsExperience with PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems (Siemens preferred)Exposure to industrial networks/data systemsStrong troubleshooting and communication skillsPharma, medical device, or regulated manufacturing experience preferredExperience with packaging systems, serialization, or vision systems would be advantageous
