Job Summary:
Medical Assembly Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assembly Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing various medical assembly and processing tasks with precision and attention to detail.
About the Role:
* Assemble medical products on an assembly operation, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis.
* Ability to rotate through the assembly line.
* Perform on-line and in-process visual inspection of products to ensure specifications per work order and procedure are followed.
* Assist Team Leader and Technicians with product and/or machine change-overs.
* Evaluate and reject product outside of specifications.
* Adhere to safety standards.
* Operate a variety of testing equipment required for periodic product and process testing.
Key Requirements:
* Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
* Demonstrates competencies and ability to rotate in a specific assembly line or work cell.
* Ability to perform a variety of assembly tasks requiring dexterity and fine motor skills.
* Ability to visually check work performed and identify whether a product has been assembled correctly.
* Ability to follow instructions in performing repetitive tasks.
* Attentiveness in performing tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Three months of experience in manufacturing, preferably in a medical assembly environment.
* Three to six months of longevity in the same company.
