OverviewUnijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Senior Project Manager to join their team. The duration of this post is 12 months initially with likely extensions thereafter. Location is Dublin 8 – hybrid working will apply (must be available to attend client sites as required).Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €45.04 per hour based on an annualised salary of €82,258. You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.Role & ResponsibilitiesThe Senior ICT PM will be expected to manage all aspects of the project, in accordance with the standards, tools and methodologies of the client PMO.Implement robust project management methodologies and processes to enable successful delivery of the Project.Ensure the Project is delivered in a cohesive and planned manner successfully managing priorities across multiple workstreams & other competing demandsEnsure work programme work is co-ordinated and integrated as appropriateDevelop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource plansReport on progress against expected plans and escalates as appropriate where deviation existsManage project scope, cost, timelines, quality, risks, benefits and change requirements where appropriatePrepare clear concise, accurate reports backed up by sufficient reliable documentary evidenceRisk Management; identifying, assessing and prioritising risks, developing risk mitigation strategies, risk owners, risk tolerances, risk budgets etc and escalating where appropriateFacilitate collaboration between clinical, vendor, technical and Project team.Develop and manage programme management standards including agreed methodologies, templates and tools e.g. RAID Template, Reporting Templates and ensure application of these standardsDevelop and adhere to agreed Governance structures and programme assurance standardsExperienceDemonstrate a track record of 2+ years successfully managing the delivery of large scale digital transformative project(s) within a medium – large scale organisation, preferably within the healthcare sector.Demonstrate significant experience of project planning, project documentation, project reporting, RAID & RACI management.Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet) or similar project management tools.PMP, PRINCE2, SCRUM or equivalent certification is highly desirable.Experience of communication & engagement with a wide range of stakeholders must be clearly demonstrated.Business CompetenciesCoordinate & lead the project team in a complex environment with significant change management challenges.Excellent oral & written communication skills including the ability to present information in a confident, logical and convincing manner.A capacity to influence and negotiate ensuring delivery on stretched objectivesAn ability to quickly build relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders and work collaboratively with stakeholders and partners to ensure that the impact of projects is maximised.Understanding of strategy and an ability to operationalise a strategic vision.Ability to work with the other technical, service, project and programme teams to ensure that projects are delivered in a cohesive and planned manner.Demonstrates evidence of operational management skills including managing own work and that of others, delegating appropriately within the resources available, and presenting work prioritisation assessments where necessary.Self-starter with a demonstrable willingness to take on responsibility.Demonstrates good problem solving, analytical and decision-making skills.Demonstrate ability to implement &manage change & business process re-organisation skills.Ability to work in fast-paced, regulated environments.Equal OpportunityUnijobs is an equal opportunities employerOther conditions*This position may be subject to Garda Vetting and Foreign Police Clearance, if applicable you will be required to obtain these prior to commencing in this role*Job detailsSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: TemporaryJob function: Consulting and Information TechnologyIndustries: IT Services and IT Consulting, Public Health, and Hospitals and Health Care
