Transformation Engagement Manager Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Transformation Engagement Manager to join their team.
The duration of this post is 12 months initially with possible extensions thereafter.
The role is based Drogheda Co Louth - Hybrid Working will apply, the successful candidate must be available to attend workshops/meetings as required.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an hourly rate of €33.19 per hour based on an annualised salary of €60,613 You will accrue 30 days annual leave per year and paid Bank Holidays.
Purpose of the role The Engagement Manager will act as a key link between the Portfolio Lead, Director, the functional areas within the office, the Programmes and the Regions.
The primary purpose of the Transformation Engagement Manager is to assist the Portfolio Management team with engagement for the key Transformation Programmes.
This will include the bidirectional flow of information, building relationships, signposting and ensuring that the programmes have the support required from the wider team.
The coordinated management of very complex ICT projects & programmes with a high degree of risk and complexity to achieve critical organisational objectives Regularly handling face to face resource, timing, quality and reporting conversations with senior management and peers in order to deliver on the accountability and reporting aspects of the role Supporting service managers in leading organisational change to drive benefits from ICT investments Managing and reporting on projects with strong interdependencies with other agencies and organisations.
Managing delivery of enabling functions to the Portfolio (Comms, Values, Architecture, Change Impacts, Readiness, Clinical Safety) Principal Duties and Responsibilities Lead on engagement and relationship management for the Transformation Portfolio.
Designing, writing, editing and proof-reading of the Portfolio Reports as necessary.
Ensure information and advice provided for Exec team, Programmes and regions is in an appropriate and accessible format.
Contribute to effective, timely and robust monitoring of media, social media and political coverage and commentary.
Assist the Portfolio Lead and Director to develop, implement and monitor an effective, collaborative and innovative engagement strategy which supports the key work and priorities of the Transformation portfolio.
Support the teams in their engagement with programmes and regions.
Signpost the regions and programmes to appropriate support.
Be a champion for change within the Portfolio and ensure that there is consistent communication across all teams.
Make effective use of new technology to improve the quality of communication with stakeholders, including the development of online, social media and digital communication.
Routinely quality assure the content of reports and published information, seeking feedback from a range of internal and external audiences to further improve and develop current artefacts.
To work with the service leads / directors in ensuring that business benefits are achieved from the programmes To develop strong business relationships with key service leads and RDDTs within regions.
To research and maintain current knowledge of national and international trends in the programme areas for which the person has responsibility - to become an expert in their field.
Eligibility Criteria - Qualifications and/ or experience Minimum of 3+ years' experience in a Comms or engagement role Experience within a large complex organisation, encompassing direct engagement with and influencing of senior decision makers regarding organisational change and large programmes of work.
Must have experience in managing multiple stakeholders, keeping them informed and up to date as appropriate.
Proficiency in MS Office suite of applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Power BI.
