Join us in powering a more sustainable future.Role overviewWe are seeking a qualified and motivated Solar Installation Electrician to join our installation team. In this role, you will carry out on-site electrical works on solar PV systems, from wiring and commissioning to troubleshooting and maintenance, ensuring all work complies with Safe Electric standards, SEAI codes of practice, and health & safety regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, wire, and commission solar PV systems (panels, inverters, batteries, monitoring, cabling) according to design specificationsConnect the solar system to the building's electrical infrastructure and grid in compliance with Safe Electric standardsPerform electrical testingWork with roofing and structural teams to coordinate installation logisticsLiaise with project managers, engineers, and customers on site to clarify scope, changes, or issuesMaintain documentation of works, site records, test reports and handover informationEnsure all work is carried out safelyOccasionally perform service / maintenance visits to installed systemsRequirements & SkillsQualified electrician with QC number and solar courses completedStrong understanding of domestic and small commercial electrical systemsProficiency with electrical testingAbility to read and interpret electrical / PV diagrams, schematics, and site plansStrong problem solving, attention to detail, and ability to work independentlyGood communication skills and ability to interact with clients on siteFull clean driving licenceDesired AttributesCertification or training in Solar / PV / Microgeneration systemsFamiliarity with battery / hybrid inverters, EV chargers, or energy storage systemsPrevious experience in renewable energyLeadership potential or desire to grow into lead / supervisory rolesWhat We OfferCompetitive salary (commensurate with experience)Company vehicle, fully expensed, for site travelWorkwear and personal protective equipment suppliedOngoing training and professional developmentOpportunity to work in a growing sector and company with environmental missionSupportive team environment and health & safety cultureJob Types: Full-time, PermanentPay: €50,000.00-€65,000.00 per yearBenefits:Company carWork Location: On the road
