 
        
        The Quality & Compliance Auditor will report directly to the Quality & Compliance Manager and work closely with the Quality & Compliance team which forms part of the New Business Innovation & Sustainability Department within Derrycourt.
The purpose of this role is to enable Operations at client sites and for company sites with greater consistency in service and safety delivery to our set standards for a:
 * Culture focused on adherence to quality, environmental, health/safety and compliance standards,
 * Continuous Improvement cycles for corrections and improvements required and to
 * Monitor and control observed performance / owners to deliver to standards/client expectations from point of notification through to close out of the issue.
A main requirement of the position will be to plan audits and complete audits for a portfolio of client sites that are often in a variety of industries to ensure every aspect of the service level agreement is carried out to the Derrycourt Quality & Compliance standards and to ensure a safe and environmentally friendly approach for our cleaning operatives, staff, clients and relevant stakeholders.
Inspection audits of company sites and company vehicles or of Derrycourt cleaning and safety equipment is also in this role's remit to prescribed manufacturer, company, industry guidelines or regulatory specifications. Industrial and company processes are also part of the scope for audits within this role. All audits concern themselves with either cleaning quality, compliance to set standards and regulations, and safety or environmental matters.
The position will also involve administration work - assisting the team in maintaining the ISO standards for the Quality & Compliance function throughout the organisation. In particular, providing quick response support for Quality & Compliance matters related to accidents and incidents, equipment issues or for other task related non-conformances and what best practices to apply.
Requirements:
• Full Clean Driving License (held for more than 2 years) and comfortable with travelling in rural country road settings and city traffic settings.
• Qualifications or prior experience / exposure
• Willingness to develop and learn new skills quite quickly
• Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills in applying Health & Safety or Environmental or Quality related or Compliance ISO best practices and standards (own site/s or 3rd party client sites) is advantageous
• It would be advantageous to have prior auditing training and/or auditing work
experience/skills for Environmental audits,
• Excellent Time Management skills
• Ability to work under low levels of supervision with a strong emphasis on managing outputs to a high standard and to manage one's own portfolio of clients and audit performance for Quality audits, Health and Safety audits, Infection Prevention Control audits, HACCP
audits, vehicle safety or equipment inspection and process audits. achieving of monthly, quarterly and annual targets.

• Prior clinical/infection control knowledge
and/or work experience would be advantageous
• Must be comfortable with alternating work
styles to support automated field-based auditing requirements / systems with administration and reporting needs for clients
(post audit)
• Ability to work on own initiative and also as part of a team.
• Must be Goals & Target Driven.
• Objectivity in evaluations for fair and systematic review of information i.e. breaches in compliance and investigation thereof
• Applied knowledge in using most MS Office
applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook)
