EGIS Rail has a new position for a Systems Integration Manager involved in various rail projects, including the Cork Area Commuter Rail Programme, focusing on signalling and communication improvements to increase capacity, reliability, and safety.
Our Irish team has designed Dublin's first Luas tram and is involved in major rail projects worldwide, including Riyadh Metro, Thessaloniki Metro, Grand Paris Express, and HS2 UK. We have several active projects in Ireland, such as the Dublin Luas extension and Cork projects.
Job description
Responsibilities & Main Activities:
1. Manage and coordinate design to ensure a fully integrated final design meeting quality standards.
2. Oversee design, construction, and system integration across all packages, ensuring adherence to safety and technical approvals.
3. Project management responsibilities.
4. Coordinate and collaborate with all stakeholders.
5. Contribute to safety, technical, programme, and cost reporting.
6. Manage project risks, maintain risk registers, and operate early warning systems.
7. Provide technical support for commercial and contract management.
8. Contribute to programme monitoring and scheduling, especially regarding NEC 4 Option C contracts.
Profile
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
1. Degree in Project/Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
2. Experience with NEC 3 or 4 contracts, preferably Option C.
3. Knowledge of NEC Contract mechanisms.
4. Experience in managing design development and construction activities.
5. Management of project controls like design submissions, RFIs, and approvals.
