We are seeking an experienced Demolition Excavator Operator to join our team based in North Dublin. This role is responsible for operating long reach demolition excavators on various projects, ensuring controlled dismantling of structures and adherence to site safety procedures.
The Role:
This position involves safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery to dismantle buildings and structures in line with project plans. The successful candidate will conduct pre-start checks, routine maintenance, and report any mechanical issues to site management.
Main Responsibilities:
* Operate long reach demolition excavators on live sites following method statements, risk assessments, and site-specific safety protocols;
* Conduct daily machine inspections, log usage data, and maintain accurate records;
* Maintain a safe working environment by identifying potential hazards and escalating concerns immediately;
* Fully support the project delivery process through effective collaboration with the ground crew and demolition supervisors;
