HR Manager
We’re managing a HR leadership search on behalf of a successful Irish business seeking to appoint a HR Manager. This is a standalone position with full responsibility for developing and delivering HR strategy across the organisation — a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional ready to take full ownership in a visible, operational & strategic role.
The organisation operates across multiple functions including commercial, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain, and you’ll work closely with senior leaders to support both day-to-day operations and long-term people planning. The role combines strategic input with practical delivery, perfect for someone who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and influencing at all levels.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned to business objectives
* Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring quality and fit across all functions
* Support workforce planning, succession mapping, and talent development across the company
* Drive employee engagement and lead initiatives that enhance culture and retention
* Manage performance and development processes, including appraisals and coaching
* Advise and support line managers on employee relations, policies, and team capability
* Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes
* Collaborate with finance on compensation, benefits, and payroll-related matters
* Maintain accurate, confidential HR records and ensure compliance with employment legislation
* Track absenteeism and attrition data, and proactively address trends
* Champion learning and development initiatives in line with identified team needs and budget
About You:
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a broad HR role, ideally at Manager or Senior Generalist level
* Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practice
* Confident in building relationships and influencing stakeholders across all levels
* Comfortable working in a standalone capacity while being fully embedded in the wider business
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
* Proficient with HR systems and comfortable using data to inform decision-making
* Experience supporting operational environments or multi-functional teams is advantageous
What’s on offer:
* Salary 65,000 - 75,000 plus 5-10% bonus
* Hybrid working model: 3 days onsite, 2 from home
* Travel within ROI required (included in the 3 onsite days)
