Automation Specialist
This is a unique opportunity to lead the Pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Bray with expertise in automation. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a highly regulated manufacturing sector, such as food.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and optimize automation systems for maximum uptime and performance.
* Manage system user access, backups, and restores to ensure seamless operation.
* Implement corrective actions and collaborate with technical support from vendors.
* Identify and execute projects to enhance system performance and efficiency.
* Contribute to capital planning, project execution, and documentation of engineering deliverables.
* Ensure all activities comply with site and corporate Quality Systems.
* Develop and implement global automation strategies to standardize processes and improve quality.
* Maintain and optimize automation systems and infrastructure for continuous improvement.
* Develop solutions tailored to the manufacturing environment for cost-effective and efficient operations.
* Drive automation projects, ensuring cost, schedule, and technical goals are met.
Requirements
* Degree in engineering (automation, robotics, computer science, etc.) or equivalent.
* Experience in GMP manufacturing, with expertise in automation and knowledge of pharmaceutical manufacturing processes.
* Proficiency in automation solutions (Siemens, Omron, Mitsubishi, etc.).
* Knowledge of industry standards (GAMP, ANSI/ISA, 21 CFR Part 11, Annex 11) and GxP/QA.
