Required: Operations Manager (part-time)
Contract: 12-month potential for Renewal ( probationary period will apply)
Hours: 4 x half days per week, (minimum 15 hrs per week)

Music & Health Ireland is a not-for-profit organisation that provides high-quality music-making opportunities in educational, healthcare and community settings. Music & Health Ireland works in collaboration with national cultural institutions, healthcare settings, universities, and local arts offices to develop and build partnerships in the areas of arts & health and music education at the local, regional, national and international level.
Music & Health Ireland is entering an exciting period of growth as we approach our 12th year, with new projects underway and the development of a new strategic plan. We are seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in a hybrid role based in Limerick/the Midwest region. This position involves supporting the administration and coordination of our programmes, as well as acting as an ambassador for the organisation. The role is primarily remote, with occasional in-person commitments (approximately once a month) to support on-site programmes or meetings, scheduled in advance.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate and liaise with all setting partners, musicians and funding partners to set up programme visits, gather feedback and develop ongoing reports with agreed metrics.
* Schedule programme visits across a series of programmes.
* Coordinate with all grant partners to ensure the timely delivery of relevant documentation.
* Be flexible and responsive to the support needs of the musicians and partnering organisations.
* Provide administrative support to the Artistic Director and Finance Manager across all programmes, and work to underpin the delivery of the ambitions of the Strategic Plan.
* Assist the Artistic Director with grant writing and identifying funding opportunities for the music programmes.
* Ensure all health and safety protocols are met and adhered to, including child protection measures and Hand Hygiene clearances.
* Develop and provide support on any social media collateral required for the programmes.
Essential Skills and Experience
* High level of literacy, communication, time management and organisational skills.
* Computer literacy and knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
* Minimum of 3 years Arts/ Cultural experience in any of the following: Project, Operations & Team Management.
* Attention to detail and experience in copywriting.
* Self-motivated with the ability to work in an organised and efficient manner.
* Demonstrable understanding and appreciation of the arts and culture or heritage sector.
* Experience with social media and online marketing.
* Previous experience of working in the Arts and/or Health sector.
* Experience in writing grant reports or other funding applications.
The position will offer a competitive salary package to the appointed candidate, reflecting their background and experience. Starting Salary approx. €36,000-€38,000 pro-rata.
