Job Description
Our client, a well-established private hospital in Dublin, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Midwife to join their maternity team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive, patient-centred environment with a strong focus on high-quality maternal and neonatal care.
Salary: Up to €55 per hour
The Role
The successful candidate will provide safe, effective, and individualised midwifery care to women and their families throughout pregnancy, labour, birth, and the postnatal period.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deliver high standards of midwifery care in line with hospital policies and professional guidelines
2. Support women through antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care
3. Work collaboratively with obstetricians, neonatal staff, and multidisciplinary teams
4. Maintain accurate clinical documentation
5. Promote a positive birth experience and patient wellbeing
Requirements
6. Registered Midwife with NMBI registration
7. Excellent clinical, communication, and interpersonal skills
8. Ability to work effectively as part of a team
9. Previous hospital or maternity care experience
