* Collaborate with other workstream members as needed.
* Ensure end‑user experience for interoperability within clinical and business teams.
* Support decision‑making and issue resolution for your workstream alongside the Workstream Lead.
Stakeholder Engagement
* Serve as a secondary liaison to clinicians and supporting staff, ensuring system interoperability design meets clinical documentation and workflow needs.
* Support interoperability engagement sessions, adoption planning, and go‑live readiness efforts.
* Recommend policy changes and process improvements related to system use.
* Facilitate regular workgroup meetings, track milestones, document decisions, and elevate risks.
* Act as a liaison between interoperability functions and the EHR implementation team.
* Support development of training materials and assist with education on interoperability for relevant end‑users.
* Provide hands‑on support during go‑live and stabilization phases to ensure continuity of interoperability operations and rapid issue resolution.
* Collaborate with the training team to train interoperability staff and other relevant users on interoperability workflows within Meditech and associated applications.
* Support the planning and delivery of handover training to the future EHR BAU team members.
* Collaborate with interoperability governance to support ongoing optimization and training needs.
Workflow & System Design

* Ensure the interoperability scope covers all relevant clinical and business domains.
* Collaborate with clinical, business, and technical teams to support end‑to‑end integrity across modules.
* Act as the subject‑matter expert (SME) for interoperability‑related functions in MEDITECH.
* Collaborate with MEDITECH analysts and operational leaders to design and validate interoperability workflows within MEDITECH Expanse.
* Review system functionality related to interoperability functions.
* Design and document interoperability requirements, including inbound and outbound data flows for key systems (e.g., lab, imaging, pharmacy, registries, billing).
* Support interoperability development and mapping between MEDITECH and other internal/external systems using HL7, FHIR, API, XDS, and other relevant standards.
* Ensure integration architecture enables clinical workflow needs, minimizes duplication, and promotes data accuracy and accessibility.
* Contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to data sharing, consent, and third‑party access in accordance with privacy legislation.
* Support the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for interoperability practices.
Implementation Support, Data Validation & Testing
* Support testing activities for interoperability unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and data exchange simulations.
* Support identification and troubleshooting of issues in collaboration with IT, finance, and clinical teams.
* Ensure modules are integrated with other enterprise systems for seamless care delivery and documentation.
* Champion change management within the interoperability team and the wider organization, addressing workflow impacts, practice changes, and documentation requirements.
* Facilitate standards development processes and actively engage interoperability SMEs in design and optimization discussions.
* Validate message integrity, data quality, and system performance across all connected platforms.
* Support data migration and normalization activities, especially for historical records or external data sources.
* Act as the escalation point for troubleshooting integration‑related issues during go‑live and stabilization.
Documentation & Governance
* Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date project documentation, including current state/future state maps, risk/issue logs, decision registers, benefits registers, and change logs.
* Support governance processes by preparing materials for the Technical Design Forum and senior management meetings.
* Track key performance indicators (KPIs) for readiness, adoption, and post‑go‑live performance.
* Document lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements related to clinical safety and digital health.
Qualifications & Experience
* Minimum 3 years of experience in health IT or systems integration, including at least 2 years with HL7, FHIR, or interface engine technologies.
