Logistics Compliance Professional
We are seeking a seasoned logistics compliance expert to spearhead our compliance operations. As the sole point of contact for logistics compliance in Ireland, you will collaborate closely with global teams to support our street view program.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Process Move Order Requests (MORs) from various warehouses, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment
* Review commercial documents for MORs and verify compliance with shipping best practices
* Create manual trade documents as needed to facilitate smooth logistics operations
* Maintain brokerage & transportation performance reports to optimize supply chain efficiency
* Approve commercial invoices generated for order types, guaranteeing accuracy and integrity
* Coordinate and resolve inbound international shipments stuck at customs, minimizing delays and associated costs
* Conduct research on emerging markets shipping and compliance regulations to stay abreast of industry developments
* Manage location codes using internal tools, ensuring seamless logistics execution
* Monitor order backlog to identify potential problem orders and implement proactive solutions
* Oversee Dangerous Goods and Hazardous shipments globally, prioritizing safety and regulatory compliance
Requirements
* Excellent knowledge of international shipping procedures and trade documents
* Prior professional experience in logistics and/or compliance roles, with a proven track record of success
* Expert knowledge of Forward, Reverse, and Third Party Logistics (3PL) workflows, including tariff classifications
* Working knowledge of Fedex Ship Manager, DHL Import/Export Portals, and other relevant logistics systems
* Excellent analytical and organization skills, with a keen eye for detail
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
