The Opportunity
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing housing organisation for an experienced Property Surveyor to join their team. This is an autonomous, field-based role offering genuine flexibility, you will manage your own diary, plan your site visits, and work to outcomes rather than a rigid timetable. If you are a self-starter who thrives with independence, this role is worth exploring.
What the Role Involves
Site visits to new turnkey acquisitions and retrofit projects
Inspection and assessment of void and capex works
Technical inspections to identify property defects
Preparation of clear, well-reasoned reports with recommendations
Working closely with internal teams to support housing delivery objectives
How You Will Work
The role is primarily field-based, with approximately two days per week in the office. Given the nature of the work the organisation operates with genuine flexibility around hours. If a site suits a 10am start, that’s absolutely fine. You will manage your own diary and be trusted to deliver results.
What We Are Looking For
Proven experience in property surveying, building surveying, or a closely related discipline
Comfortable conducting technical inspections and producing clear defect reports
Familiarity with social or affordable housing, turnkey acquisitions, or retrofit programmes is an advantage
Full, clean Irish driving licence
A self-motivated, organised approach you do not need to be micromanaged to deliver results
