Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician, RME Team – Dublin
Amazon's Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) team is central to our commitment to innovation.
As a Senior RME Technician, you will adopt the latest technologies, identify efficient ways of working, and ensure high standards of equipment performance.
Your work will help maintain uptime and improve processes across our EU network.
Key Responsibilities
Demonstrate best practice by using equipment safely and monitoring teams to ensure processes are followed.
Track equipment performance through visual checks, condition-based monitoring, and preventative maintenance tasks.
Supervise shift technicians and serve as the first point of contact for reliability maintenance engineers.
Resolve equipment issues to reduce downtime and improve operations.
Support continual improvements and process standardisation across the EU network.
Basic Qualifications
Full Engineering apprenticeship and/or NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant engineering subject.
Experience in a technical leadership role.
Experience in electrical and mechanical disciplines.
Experience in automation or material-handling equipment environments.
Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a multi-contractor, multi-site environment.
Understanding of PLC-based controls systems and statutory compliance requirements.
Experience using computerized maintenance management systems for proactive maintenance planning and reactive task recording.
A degree in a technical discipline or operations.
