Key Responsibilities:
* Preparing financial statements for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
* Assisting with audit engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and completion.
* Performing bookkeeping and management accounting tasks.
* Preparing tax computations and returns.
* Liaising with clients and building strong working relationships.
* Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of current accounting and auditing standards.
* Contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
* Taking ownership of assigned tasks and meeting deadlines.
Essential Requirements:
* Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CPA, ACA) or actively pursuing qualification.
* Minimum of 2-3 years' experience in a similar role within an Irish practice environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of accounting and auditing standards (IFRS, GAAP).
* Proficiency in accounting software packages (e.g., Xero, Sage, QuickBooks).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
