We are partnering with a leading corporate services provider who are looking to hire a Senior Client Accountant for their Dublin office. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accountant to step into a client-facing role that blends
statutory reporting, tax compliance, and structured finance issuance work
.
The Role
The work will include the preparation and review of management accounts, financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory reporting, as well as managing the end-to-end issuance process for structured finance transactions (SPVs, CLOs and similar vehicles).
You will report to an Associate Director/Director of Corporate Services and play a key role in client relationship management, team leadership, and ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a portfolio of client entities, ensuring timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts, financial statements, tax filings, and regulatory returns.
* Lead, mentor, and support a team of associates, monitoring performance and developing skills.
* Oversee and coordinate structured finance issuance processes including: arrangers, external counsel, listing agents, trustees, paying agents/registrars, calculation agents, account banks, and ICSDs.
* Manage end-to-end corporate reporting including VAT, corporation tax, payroll, and Central Bank filings.
* Review and present Board packs, financial information, and reports to senior stakeholders.
* Ensure all services delivered are compliant with applicable legal, tax, and regulatory standards.
* Drive continuous improvement in team processes, efficiency, and client delivery.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key external parties.
About You
* Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a degree in accounting or business.
* Team leadership skills.
* Strong technical accounting knowledge including financial statements and tax compliance.
* Experience with SPV note issuance and familiarity with structured finance transactions.
* Skilled at liaising with multiple stakeholders including arrangers, counsel, trustees, listing agents, and service providers.
* Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); prior exposure to accounting systems such as Xero, Sage, or SAP is desirable.
* Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to deliver to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication skills with a client-focused mindset.
