Position Summary
Responsible for identifying and winning new business through key account management and prospecting. Develop knowledge of trends in medical device, pharmaceutical, and diagnostic industries, and sourcing practices of current and potential Customers. Assess test requirements, methods, Customer specifications, and information to ensure successful project delivery. This is a technical sales role.
Duties
* Understand Customer requirements and devise appropriate solutions.
* Meet with existing and potential Customers to increase awareness of STERIS services.
* Utilize Salesforce CRM to track opportunities.
* Support problem solving and training activities within the team.
* Liaise with other divisions for continuous improvement.
* Support marketing and outreach programs.
* Report on sales activities.
* Stay updated on industry standards (e.g., ISO 11607, MDR, IEC 60601).
* Attend trade shows, conferences, and events as needed.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject or demonstrable relevant experience. Ability to influence across functions and externally with Customer organizations and service providers. Capable of strategic contribution and working with global counterparts. High attention to detail and project management skills.
