TTM Healthcare are proud to partner with our client in the public sector in Mayo to recruit a temporary Grade III Clerical Officer. Location: Castlebar
Hours: 35 hours full time (9-5)
Duration: Temporary month to month initial contract
Pay scale: €17.04- €26.52 (depending on previous relevant public sector experience)
Available for Immediate Start


Role Overview


This temporary role provides comprehensive administrative and PA-style support to a senior management function within the public sector. The position requires a high level of organisation, accuracy, and professionalism, with responsibility for maintaining records, managing sensitive information, and supporting day-to-day office operations.


Key Responsibilities

* Maintain and update departmental trackers, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date
* Upload and manage relevant information within CRM and database systems
* Manage and update records efficiently while maintaining data integrity
* Prepare, type, and format correspondence, letters, and reports
* Take accurate minutes of meetings and circulate documentation as required
* Log, track, and manage incoming and outgoing correspondence
* Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
* Provide reception cover when required, including greeting visitors and managing telephone enquiries
* Carry out filing and document management duties (primarily online systems)
* Support general office administration and assist colleagues as required
* Ensure compliance with public sector administrative procedures and standards


Key Skills & Attributes

* Proven administrative or clerical experience, ideally within a public sector or similar environment
* Strong experience using databases, trackers, and CRM systems
* Excellent attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
* Professional, reliable, and capable of working independently and as part of a team
