We are currently seeking an Electrophysiology / Cardiac Arrhythmias Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join a well-established hospital in Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated nurse to work within a dynamic multidisciplinary team in a modern clinical environment Job Type: Permanent / Full-time Responsibilities Deliver patient-centred specialist care, including assessment, planning, and management.
Provide education and support to patients and families pre- and post-procedure.
Coordinate EP Cath Lab scheduling with consultants and the multidisciplinary team.
Support post-procedure care and discharge planning.
Maintain accurate documentation and clinical governance standards.
Participate in audit, research, quality improvement, and staff education.
Requirements NMBI Registered General Nurse with active registration.
Postgraduate qualification in Cardiology/Cardiovascular Nursing (Higher Diploma desirable).
Minimum 5 years post-registration experience in an acute setting.
Relevant experience in Cardiology / Electrophysiology (EP).
ACLS/BLS certification (essential).
Evidence of continuous professional development.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lead, teach, and work within a multidisciplinary team.
Proficient in documentation, time management, and IT systems.
Knowledge of infection control practices and clinical safety standards.
