Orchestrates activities related to the Human Resources operations according to established guidelines and sound administrative processes. This position serves as a technical expert in their field of knowledge, responsible for and providing analysis of various Human Resource programmes and initiatives.
Responsibilities

Ensures a specialist technical area within the Human Resource department progresses smoothly.
Liaises with different Job Families, interacting with managers and senior on different areas in the organisation.
Communicates effectively with all the stakeholders to avoid any probable escalation for the assigned tasks.
Contributes to the strategic direction and formulation of Human Resource policies, procedures, systems and initiatives.
Provides expert and professional advice on Human Resource issues. Supports key stakeholders including seniors on disciplinary, grievance, capability, attendance management and harassment and discrimination cases using a problem‑solving approach in order to minimise risk and financial exposure.
Works flexibly and collaboratively with other colleagues in the wider Group Human Resource team, proactively identifying areas for service improvement within the Human Resource function both locally and at a Group level.
Undertakes project work and policy development work in line with overall people strategy.
Defines and communicates internally‑set quality standards, ensuring that all aspects of Human Resources work to achieve satisfactory quality and consistency.
Develops, maintains and continuously improves processes, systems, reporting and technology for the Human Resource community.
Keeps up to date on developments in employment legislation and case law, is proactive in ensuring that managers are appropriately briefed and trained on relevant changes and new legislation.
Devises and maintains information relating to Human Resource policies and procedures.
Manages the full performance management lifecycle, working closely with key stakeholders to ensure consistency and timeliness of the cycle.
Creates reports for the Human Resource department on activity, exit interview findings, site visit outcomes, absence, employee engagement, ER issues, T&D initiatives and others as requested.
Attends and contributes to regular senior management meetings as Human Resource representative.

Qualifications

Essential

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience


Desirable

Professional certification in HR, e.g. CIPD, SHRM, PHR or similar certification
Additional courses in HR
MBA or equivalent experience
Management certification or qualification

Has achieved trusted advisor status at a senior level with the client.
Excellent client‑facing skills, as an expert in field experience of influencing client decision making and direction. Takes time to establish underlying needs of client beyond those initially expressed.
Applies insight, originality and a broad perspective to generate revolutionary technical solutions.
Experience of introducing new concepts or strategies that significantly improve or revise the way business is done through to implementation.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. Maintains confidentiality, shares ideas and information, facilitates discussions and transfers knowledge to diverse audiences to achieve collective objectives.


Technical

Broad knowledge of professional services and the IT and Quality Services market.
Ability to multi‑task and prioritise across multiple activities.
Ability to work in a matrix‑management environment.
Ability to react quickly and effectively in a dynamically changing environment to changes or new activities.
Strong experience of business, management and project management principles and practices.
Experience in influencing key stakeholders through change management initiatives, ensuring that the operational infrastructure is managed to provide agreed levels of service.
Proven record in independent ownership of Human Resources, able to monitor standards and quality targets.
Experience in building long‑term relationships with stakeholders and maintaining a strong understanding of the industry and business.
Strong knowledge of Human Resource trends, technologies and employment practices.
Ability to manage ambiguity, risk, and changing direction of projects and strategies.
Ability to work effectively in high‑pressure situations that require sound decision making and may involve confidential or sensitive matters.
Excellent interpersonal and management skills and high professional standards for customer service and work quality.
Excellent problem‑solving, critical thinking, deductive reasoning, inductive reasoning, and analytical skills.
