To continue expanding our impact, Sheep Ireland is seeking to fill a full-time position at their Ballincollig, Cork office.

Key Responsibilities
Technical and Programme Support: Provide assistance with farm management software, genetic evaluations, and the LambPlus programme to ensure effective implementation and user support.
Data and Reporting: Manage, analyse, and interpret performance data to generate accurate reports and insights that support decision-making.
Technology and Stakeholder Collaboration: Promote technology adoption and engage with farmers, industry stakeholders, and partners to enhance communication and drive genetic improvement initiatives.
Preferred Skills and Experience
Highly Motivated and Detail-Oriented: Demonstrates self-initiative, strong attention to detail, and a proactive approach to work, with experience in the sheep industry considered an advantage.
Excellent Analytical and Computer Abilities: Capacity to interpret data and generate meaningful insights.
Strong Communicator and Team Player: Exhibits strong written and verbal communication skills, collaborates effectively within a team and with external stakeholders.
Problem-Solving and Project Management: Applies critical thinking to identify challenges and opportunities, manage projects efficiently, and pursue continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications
Hold a 3rd level degree in an Agriculture related discipline (or equivalent experience)
A Masters in Agricultural Science will be an advantage
